Reduce up to 15% wheat powder and wheat gluten needed to bind feed pellets in your formulation. Only 1kg of Super-Bond AQ is needed to replace 10kg of Wheat meal.
100% All Natural feed pellet binder!
The feed formulator no longer needs to use plastic “resin-type” binders made of Polymethylolcarbamide (PMC) or Modified Urea. Both types of these feed pellet binders are essentially “plastic”. For Aquafeed, these resin-type binders are now illegal in most countries. As an all-natural alternative, Super-Bond is made from 100% natural ingredients Algal concentrates and fine clay Montmorillonite silicates.
Mycotoxin Binder & Pellet Binder... all-in-one!
The primary ingredient of Super-Bond AQ is ultra-fine Montmorillonite, a clay that belongs to the smectite group of mineral silicates. Commonly referred to as HSCAS (Hydrated Sodium Calcium Aluminosilicates), these binders have a strong adsorption function of mycotoxin metabolites due to the clay’s ultra-fine grain size and interlocking tetrahedron sheet composition that allows water retention and the “fixing” of metabolites. Mycotoxins greatly damage liver, hepatopancreas and immune sytem functions in fish and shrimp.
As a very “low-inclusion” feed pellet binder!
Only 3-6kg of Super-Bond AQ per metric ton of feed is needed. Unlike high-inclusion Lignosulfonate feed pellet binders that require at least up to 25kg/MT feed; Super-Bond’s low inclusion frees up space in the formulation for lower-cost fillers such as cassava meal, bentonite powder, calcium powder, etc.
Super-Bond AQ replaces PMC binders and Wheat Gluten on a 1:1 basis
Sper-Bond AQ reduces Wheat Flour by 33% on a 5:1 basis (5-10kg of Wheat flour reduced per 1kg Super-Bond AQ).
