SyAqua Siam Co. Ltd was originally formed as the genetics division of Gold Coin Feeds, then a large multinational feed company with over 20 feed mills spread through India, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and China. Gold Coin Feeds was owned by Zuellig Group (Zuellig Pharma, the massive pharmaceutical corporation with over $12 billion in annual revenue). SyAqua has since been split from Gold Coin and Zuellig to focus on l. vannamei broodstock genetics and high-quality larval feeds. SyAqua has a different approach towards its genetics and nutritional products. SyAqua’s “balanced line” of shrimp genetics strives for the most robust, pathogen-free shrimp with greatly increased survivability in SE Asia’s very challenging shrimp farming conditions; while SyAqua’s nutrition is formed by the highest digestible nutrients needed to maximize growth and health.

Thanks to SyAqua’s unique encapsulation process adapted from the pharmaceutical industry, ENCAP utilizes the highest quality ingredients and micro nutrients to form micro-encapsulated feeds pellets from 30-50 or 80-100 microns, depending upon larval stage. Importantly, these micro feeds do not leach into the tank water fouling the environment, yet remain highly digestible for the larvae.
